PATROL OFFICER, DETECTIVE, SUPERVISORY - 35 HOUR PROGRAM

CHIEFS IN-SERVICE - 51 HOUR PROGRAM

The 35 hour programs include all mandates (except firearms) and some electives.   Classes meet 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the host departments as listed in the table below. 

The current status of reserved seats will be displayed regularly.  If a class looks close to full, it is recommended that you call first to make sure there are still seats available if the website last update has not been done within one week of your registration.

You must be sergeant or above to enroll into a Supervisory Program.  The Detective Program is recommended for Detectives, but it is not required that you have that title to enroll.

The Chiefs Program will run this year, 2018-2019 and in 2019-2020.  This program provides 51 hours of training and includes all mandates (except firearms) and all electives to meet the requirements of POST to re-certify.  You must be a rank of Captain or above to enter this program.  Classes meet one Tuesday a month from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Rocky Hill Police Department.  Classes begin in October and run through May.  (Please note that class does not meet in the month of November),
